Web Based Bug Tracking System

Abbreviation: BUGTRACK

Brief Description: A Web based software application that is designed to help quality assurance and programmers keep track of reported software bugs and feature requests in their work. These systems are an essential part of the management of software development projects. Users would be able to enter bug reports into the system and it would support features like configurable promotion models, definable user roles, customisable reporting, Windows User authentication and would be written in C# ASP.Net using SQL Server as the database.

  • OTHER: :Liaison with outside users.

Facilities needed: Microsoft development environment, c#

Supervision: The majority of the input will come from Korbitec and their development teams. Meetings with them at their Newlands offices will be required. However guidance and day to day supervision will be given by the CS Staff member.
